A proud graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa, Dr. Frimmel earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine). He further honed his skills through a rigorous podiatric surgical residency in Fort Worth, Texas, and completed an advanced fellowship in orthopedics and biomechanics in Cleveland, Ohio, deepening his expertise in complex foot and ankle mechanics.

Dr. Frimmel is a respected leader in the podiatric community, having served as president of both the Florida Podiatric Medical Association and the Manasota Podiatric Medical Association. Nationally, he has made significant contributions as the chair of the Annual Scientific Meeting for the American Podiatric Medical Association. Locally, he serves on the governing board of the Sarasota County Medical Society, advocating for excellence in healthcare.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Frimmel is an avid runner, having conquered prestigious marathons including Boston, New York, and the demanding Pike’s Peak course in Colorado. His passion for an active lifestyle extends to sailing, cooking, and brewing artisanal beer, reflecting his commitment to balance and creativity.
