Dr. Candice A. Kepich, DPM, DABFAS, is a compassionate and highly skilled podiatrist at Sarasota Foot Care Center; She delivers exceptional foot and ankle care tailored to each patient’s needs. Board-certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Kepich combines her extensive training with a personal commitment to improving patients’ quality of life through innovative and personalized treatments.
Originally from Northeastern, Pennsylvania, Dr. Kepich graduated summa cum laude from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Her passion for podiatry was sparked by her own experience as a patient, inspiring her to pursue a career that blends surgical expertise, office-based procedures, sports medicine, and diabetic foot care. She earned her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 2008, where she distinguished herself as Vice President of the Stirling Hartford Anatomical Honor Society. Dr. Kepich further honed her expertise through a rigorous three-year podiatric medicine and surgical residency at Mercy Suburban Hospital, in East Norriton Pennsylvania serving as Chief Resident in her final year.
A Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr. Kepich is also an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Florida Podiatric Medical Association. Her professional interests include diabetes education, sports medicine, pediatric foot care, and both surgical and non-surgical treatments for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, ensuring comprehensive care for patients of all ages.
Dr. Kepich resides in Sarasota with her husband, a fellow physician, their son, daughter, and three Bengal cats. Her dedication to health and wellness extends beyond the clinic, as she remains committed to fostering a healthy, active lifestyle for her family and community.
