Dr. Matthew Liwski is a double board-certified podiatrist and diabetic wound care specialist at Sarasota Foot Care Center, where he delivers dedicated and compassionate care to his patients. Dr. Liwski is certified by The American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery and The American College of Wound Care Specialists. Recently honored as a 2025 Top Doctor in Bradenton, recognizing his exceptional contributions to podiatric medicine and patient care.

Growing up in Sarasota, Dr. Liwski graduated from Riverview High School before earning his Bachelor's degree, with honors, in Health & Exercise Science from Syracuse University. He earned his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, and then completed a three-year surgical residency at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He studied at the world-renowned Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics, and was also Chief Resident. His advanced training equipped him to address complex foot and ankle conditions, specifically in regard to diabetic foot ulcers.

Dr. Liwski joined Sarasota Foot Care Center as an associate physician in 2025. His passion for wound care has led to speaking engagements for global companies specializing in wound care products and equipment. Dr. Liwski is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Florida Podiatric Medical Association, Manasota Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Wound Care Society; staying at the forefront of podiatric advancements.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Liwski enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He loves fishing, being outdoors and tackling projects around the house. While also a fitness enthusiast, he maintains his work life balance with relaxing family movie nights.
