Dr. Matthew C Liwski is a double board-certified podiatrist and diabetic wound care specialist at Sarasota Footcare Center, where he delivers cutting-edge, compassionate care to patients. Certified by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery and the American College of Wound Care Specialists. Dr. Liwski was honored as a 2025 Top Doctor in Bradenton, recognizing his exceptional contributions to podiatric medicine and patient care.

A Sarasota native, Dr. Liwski graduarted from Riverview Highschool before earning his Bachelor's degree in Health & Excerise from Syrracruse University. He pursued his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, followed by a prestigious three-year surgical residency at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. His advanced training has equipped him to address complex foot and ankle conditions with precision and expertise.

Returning to Sarasota to be near family and raise his own, Dr. Liwski is a leader in lower extremity wound care, speaking internationally for global companies specializing in wound care products and equipment. His passion for innovative treatments ensures patients receive the highest standard of care. Dr. Liwski is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Florida Podiatric Medical Association, Manasota Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Wound Care Society, staying at the forefront of podiatric advancements.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Liwski enjoys spending time with his wife and children, fishing, and embracing the outdoors at the beach or tackling home projects. A fitness enthusiast, he balances his active lifestyle with relaxing movie nights, bringing the same dedication and energy to his community as he does to his patients at Sarasota Foot Care Center.
