The doctors of SFCC are Diplomates of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and Fellows of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. All are residency trained in the latest medical and surgical techniques of the foot and ankle. Our doctors are committed to continuing medical education, and strive to provide the finest possible specialty service.

SFCC has been serving the Sarasota community since 1982 through sponsorship and involvement in numerous charitable and non-profit organizations such as UCP, the Manasota Track Club, the Salvation Army Pair-to-Spare shoe drive, Sertoma, the Sarasota Ballet of Florida and many youth athletic programs.

Jeffrey M. Spiegel, DPM, DABPS

• Board certified in foot & ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery
• Fellow, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons

In his time away from the office, Dr. Spiegel is passionate about running and his grandchildren. He has been known to get up as early as 4:00 a.m. to get his run in, even when not in training for a marathon. He has completed 13 marathons, including the prestigious Boston and New York Marathons!

Paul G. Yungst, DPM, DABPS

• Podiatric surgical residency completed at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
• Board certified in foot & ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery
• Fellow, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons

Dr. Yungst has been practicing podiatry in Sarasota since 1982, and has published numerous podiatric research papers. Dr. Yungst attended Tulane University on a basketball scholarship and he currently enjoys swimming, cycling, music, travel and photography. Patients can enjoy his photos throughout our offices, including the fabulous Salvatore Ferragamo shoe collection that line the halls. Dr. Yungst has served as the podiatric medical consultant for MD Logic World Wide Electronic Medical Records since 1997 and is the author of its podiatric knowledge base.

Robert Frimmel, DPM, DABPS

• Graduate of University of South Florida & Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine
• Podiatric surgical residency completed in Fort Worth, TX
• Board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery
• Fellowship in Orthopedics and Biomechanics, Cleveland, OH
• Fellow, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons

Dr. Frimmel is also an avid marathon runner who has finished 16 marathons, including the challenging course at Pike's Peak! Community involvement is a high priority for Dr. Frimmel. He is a past president of the Florida Podiatric Medical Association, sits on the Sarasota Memorial Healthplex Medical Advisory Board, writes a monthly column in local running store Fleet Feet Sports' e-newsletter, and is an active member of the Manasota Track Club. Craig Conti, DPM, MS

• Podiatric surgical residency completed at Western Pennsylvania Hospital
• Trustee, American Association of Podiatric Practice Management
• Member, American Podiatric Medical Association

Dr. Conti joined Sarasota Foot Care Center in 2006, and often represents the practice at educational lectures and community events. He is a trustee of the American Association of Podiatric Practice Management and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Conti is the organizer of SFCC's Pair-to-Spare shoe drive.
