Robert Frimmel, DPM, DABPS
Graduate of University of South Florida and the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Podiatric surgical residency completed in Fort Worth, Texas. Board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Fellowhship in Orthorpedics and Biomechanics, Cleveland, Ohio. Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Frimmel is also an avid marathon runner - he has finished 17 marathons most recently the NYC Marathon and is planning on running the Boston Marathon in April 2010. Community involvement is a high priority for Dr. Frimmel. He is a past president of the Florida Podiatric Medical Association, sits on the Sarasota Memorial Healthplex Medical Advisory Board, writes a monthly column in local running store Fleet Feet Sports' e-newsletter, and is an active member of the Manasota Track Club.
